Cubyn accepts all the main barcodes standards, which includes EAN, UPC, IMEI, QR Code.
There are 3 golden rules when barcoding your products:
- Every product sent to Cubyn must present a physical barcode, outside its packaging, easily scannable and securely adhered to.
- All barcodes on products to be sent to Cubyn must be announced in the Warehouse Inbound Order dropped on Cubyn app.
- Barcodes must meet the quality grade A to C requirements (norm ISO/IEC 15416) and must not be on a dark background, even if printed in white.
- It is important to know that we will not differentiate between upper and lower case letters (barcode1" = "BARCODE1" = "Barcode1").
If multiple barcodes are apparent on your product, you must ensure that only one of the barcodes has been reported to us in the WIO concerned AND in previous WIOs.
If multiple barcodes known in our systems are found on your products, your product will be stored under the first barcode scanned.
To find out if a barcode is readable by Cubyn, the easiest way is to scan it with a barcode scanner smartphone app and make sure that the information returned by the app is the one indicated in the WIO.
If Cubyn has received a product with a barcode that does not comply with the rules listed above, it will be stored under the SKU SKU_UNKNOWN or Item_Not_Scannable that you find at the front of your inventory from your interface.
