What are bundles used for?
A bundle is a collection of items that will be shipped together. Creating a bundle will group multiple items under 1 main SKU.
ℹ️ Note: A bundle SKU is not a real item for its own, it is a ‘container’ that includes at least one SKU.
The rule is: when the SKU of a bundle is added to an order, all the SKUs of that bundle are added to the order in question.
How to configure bundles?
You can create Bundles directly from your Inventory.
All you need to do is click on the Create a Bundle button, at the top right, in the Inventory tab.
You will then be redirected to the following page:
In the Bundle description section, you will then be able to:
- Enter a new SKU for your bundle
- Enter a name for your bundle
In the SKU selection section, you will be able to:
- Add SKUs to the bundle by clicking on "Add new SKU". (You can also delete lines by clicking on the gray cross at the end of the line).
- Select an SKU from the list of SKUs that exist in your inventory
- Assign the desired quantity in the quantity box
Once your Bundle is configured, you can click on Create Bundle.
🎉 Congratulations, you have created your bundle!
Example:
For a Valentine's Day promotion, I am selling a bundle set of two products, consisting of a cream MorningRoutine_blue and a cream Aftershave_red. On my Cubyn interface, I can create a Bundle with the Valentine_gift SKU, consisting of each of the two previous SKUs, as in the image below. Therefore, when I will receive orders on my Valentine_gift Bundle, my order will simply be fulfilled at Cubyn with the products associated with it, and in the quantity defined !
How to edit my bundle?
Once your bundle has been created, you can find it in your inventory.
Now all you have to do is click on the Bundle line in your inventory, and you can then modify the configuration of your bundle :
- The SKU of the bundle in question
- The name of the bundle
- The list of associated SKUs
- The quantity of SKUs associated
🚨 If you modify a bundle, the modification will apply to future orders and not to orders in preparation.
